NiSource (NI) Earnings And Revenues Beat Estimates In Q4

NiSource Inc (NYSE:NI) delivered operating earnings of 38 cents per share in fourth-quarter 2018, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 37 cents by 2.7%. Earnings increased 15.2% from the year-ago quarter’s tally.
On a GAAP basis, the company reported a loss of 5 cents compared with a loss of 16 cents in the year-ago quarter.
In 2018, NiSource generated earnings of $1.30, up from $1.21 delivered in 2017.
Total Revenues
NiSource generated total net revenues of $1,453.1 million in fourth-quarter 2018, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1,400 million by 3.8%. Revenues increased from $1,361.4 million in the year-ago quarter.
In 2018, NiSource generated revenues of $5,084 million, up from $4,904.8 million in 2017.
