Gold to Silver Ratio Jumps the Creek of Resistance

The gold to silver ratio (GSR), a measure of risk appetite within the financial system, precious metals, and a leading directional indicator of precious metals money flows, jumped the creek of resistance yesterday (chart 1). This bearish event, likely marginalized by opinions from the daily chatter, is as important as the upside breakout of the 2008 -45 degree trendline in 2013; the breakout completed the transition from down to up or risk-taking to risk-aversion within the financial system and precious metals.
