ECRI Weekly Leading Index: A Year-To-Date Low

Today's release of the publicly available data from ECRI (Economic Cycle Research Institute ) puts its Weekly Leading Index (WLI) at 144.1, down 0.9 from the previous week and the lowest since December 30th. Year-over-year the four-week moving average of the indicator is now at 7.92%, down from 8.63% the previous week. The WLI Growth indicator is now at 6.5, also down from the previous week.

Minsky Conference, where Lakshman Achuthan focuses on economic growth over three radically different time frames: Two millennia, the 21st century and the near-term cyclical outlook over the next couple of quarters.
