Dow Jones Slides After Rejection Of Greek Austerity Measures

The Dow Jones slid; signaling after an unexpectedly emphatic rejection by Greek voters of austerity measures raised the risk of a euro exit. The uncertainty over the Greece overshadowed U.S. economic data. A Labor Department report Thursday showed the U.S. economy added 233,000 jobs in June while wages stagnated and the size of the labor force receded. Hiring fell short of economist estimates. The data showed that the economy, while improving wasn’t strong enough.
