U.S. stocks were mixed after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher while losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower. At the close in NYSE, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.03%, while the S&P 500 index fell 0.13%, and the NASDAQ Composite index lost 0.21%. The best-performers of the session on the Dow Jones Industrial Average were Cisco Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CSCO), which rose 2.87% or 0.80 points to trade at 28.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) added 1.67% or 2.38 points to end at 144.81 and The Travelers Companies Inc (NYSE:TRV) was up 1.44% or 1.52 points to 106.95 in late trade.
