DIOD, NTNX, PLAY, TRUE: Stock Charts To Watch

Diodes Incorporated (NASDAQ:DIOD) was up 77 cents, or 2.49%, to 31.70, on 454,210 shares traded on Tuesday. This is a stock which I gave you on Aug 31 at 28.14, with my targets originally at 31, 34 1/2-35. The 31 target was met, so now 34 1/2-35 is the next target.
Finally a breakout on Nutanix Inc (NASDAQ:NTNX) with monster volume on Tuesday, jumping 2.30, or 10%, to 25.61, on 15.6 million shares traded. This is the volume we wanted to see. This time it had a decent close. Let’s see if it can get an extension to 28-9, my next target zone, followed by the top of the channel at 32-3. Almost five days to cover .
Stocks on the Short Side…..
Dave & Buster’s Entertainment (NASDAQ:PLAY) broke through a rising wedge, and dropped another 72 cents, or 1.47%, to 48.16, on 1.2 million shares traded on Tuesday, closing at the lowest level since Nov of last year, and may very well probe at the 40-42 level in the not-too-distance future.
Swing trade Truecar Inc (NASDAQ:TRUE), after snapping back to resistance, fell on Tuesday, and fell hard, dropping another 67 cents, or 4.18%, to 15.34, on 2.6 million shares traded. It looks like it’s going to retest the lows right about 14.40-.50, maybe as low as 14, but that 14.40 range seems to be some kind of support zone potentially. I think that, however, we’re going to see it eventually get down to 12 or 13.
On the long side, stocks included Abeona Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:ABEO), Arbutus Biopharma Corporation (ABUS), AcelRx Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:ACRX), Aradigm Cor (NASDAQ:ARDM), Cymabay Therapeutics, Inc. (CBAY), Celsion Corporation (CLSN), Diodes Incorporated (DIOD), Helios and Matheson Analytics Inc. (HMNY), Ichor Holdings, Ltd. (ICHR), Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ:IDRA), MannKind Corporation (MNKD), NUTANIX, INC. (NTNX), Pure Storage, Inc. (PSTG), uniQure N.V. (QURE), Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. (SRNE), Zogenix, Inc. (ZGNX), and Zynerba Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ZYNE).
On the short side, stocks included Amedisys, Inc. (AMED), Hasbro (NASDAQ:HAS), Inc. (HAS), Finisar Corp. (FNSR), Fossil Group Inc (NASDAQ:FOSL), MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:MTSI), Dave & Buster's Entertainment, Inc. (PLAY, TrueCar, Inc. (TRUE), and Veritiv Corporation (VRTV).
