Chinese Iron Ore Prices Up For The Week On Construction Index

The Chinese low price of 62% Australian iron ore fines saw the largest increase this week on the weekly Construction MMI®, rising 2 percent.

The price of Chinese rebar fell 0.3 percent after rising 0.8 percent the week before. Following a steady week, prices for US shredded scrap closed flat. Chinese H-beam steel traded sideways last week.

Chinese aluminum bar remained unchanged for the week. European 1050 aluminum remained essentially flat from the previous week.

The weekly US Midwest, Rocky Mountain and Gulf coast bar fuel surcharges stayed essentially flat.
