What if iI told you that the Federal Reserve has 9 TRILLION DOLLARS in assets on it's balance sheet?  One of the FED Bank Presidents just said that the assets will be sold back into the system as a normal piece of the the interest rate hikes.  That can only be construed as Quantitative TIGHTENING.   So why do you keep buying on the long side when YOU KNOW that the FED is selling what you're BUYING and and has a near INFINITE supply to get rid of?  Look up the phrase 'Cognitive Dissonance' !!!!!

My entire 401k is emerging markets and metals. I have lost about 20% from 1st of year, and breaking even on my 2016 buy-in paying about 0.75%-1% per year fee. There really isn't a point in selling, maybe QQQ had the bigger drop. But they had the bigger gain. 85% of my wealth in US RE, which I suspect I would have a very hard time selling this week.I pray China and US, Europe etc, I want us all to succeed and just get along. We have too much to worry about as a globe. We need world peace to fight the true enemy that threatens us all imminently, climate change is real, it's a crisis and is already causing trillions in damages and we all know it, science is fully in agreement with unanimous consent. We have to convert to a green energy future to save the planet for future generations.
