Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan persuaded US pharmaceutical companies to build drug factories in Indonesia. It looks like there will be a lot of incentive support. Philip Morris has acquired Otitopic, Fertin Pharma and Vectura. Philip Morris Indonesia through HM Sampoerna (code : HMSP) with excessive cash around $1.4B until September 2021 has a large opportunity to make this deal come true with the suppor of Philip Morris International.

Upside for the last couple of years was driven by IQOS performance. Now it is facing tough competition from BAT and others in key markets. Nice dividend, but it will never offset the impact of declining nicotine market.
