If tomorrow's news didn't support it, 1.30 is the pit-stop but if the news hit a stunningly amazing number regardless of what Carney may try to conceal in his speeches, it will show a potentially bullish move that may eye itself to 1.38.. .. However, with more efforts to increase spending domestically the inflation isn't upto the required level, so it's a possibility that the rate-hike may not be considered till the end of the quarter ... that again means , the news may invite the bulls for a mere jolt..

possibly. but on the chart gbp is on a long term bullish trend. unless you're a scalper, i don't recommend looking for a shorting position.

GBP has been dropping since this morning, maybee institutionals think the GDP number will be bad + the forecasts tend to be over optimistic

Have a look at the history table.. The British economists are always correct about the GDP with their forecasts. Therefore, I don't believe it will be a market mover event
